Sunday Evening Exploring

Sunday, we left work at a decent hour and  went to the tailor. I picked up my shirts, shorts, and pants, all of which turned out really well. The shirts fit like a glove. The pants, I'm afraid, are a bit snug, as I've put on a couple pounds since I've been here. Oh well! They'll fit again as soon as I get back to the gym! Joey and Ema were up for a new adventure, as we've been working like crazy since they arrived in Beijing. I took them to HouHai, and we ate dinner on the roof of a restaurant overlooking the lake (I think it was Hunan cuisine.) We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, including some vermicelli noodles, bamboo net frog, dumplings, and a chicken stir fry. The food was delicious, but the biggest surprise of the night was the bones! The frog and chicken had been chopped up and cooked without removing the bones, so as you bit into each little morsel, you then had to spit the bones out onto your plate!
