Celeb Hunting
A few minutes later, Tara Lipinsky walked by and I introduced myself (apparently, I also introduced everyone else in the area.) She was gracious and fun, but I had to stoop down about a foot to be on her level for a picture.
Saturday was a slow day at work. Most people have already picked up their tickets. Mitchell met me for lunch, and I had a great squash agnollotti with chicken at Urban Fare Supermarket. I've met some cool people here in Vancouver, and I have a feeling I'll be back at some point! Saturday night, our Ticketing Department went for a great dinner at DB Bistro (Daniel and I both joked that it was our place, our initials being DB.) After dinner ended, I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and I had to go to bed.
I set out for the office this morning through the drizzle. Vancouver seems to be saying goodbye by treating this day just like any other! The energy in the city is high, though! People are lining up at Starbucks for their caffeine and heading to their favorite bar to get a seat for the big Gold Medal Hockey Game! Today is going to be fun!
